For sale is my Original 1984 Toyota Landcruiser BJ42 LX – with original factory 3.4 litre diesel, 5 speed gearbox, 6 seats, power steering, front disc brakes, opening side rear windows and the iconic 3 x windscreen wipers with intermittent control.

1984 was the last year these vehicles were manufactured and this is the luxury “LX” model. The original owner took delivery of the vehicle on the 30th of July 1984 and I have owned it since 17th of March 2013.
This is a much loved family vehicle that is rust free and is close to 100% original condition. It comes with all of the detail pieces that are often lost or broken with general use of these vehicles over their 38 years of life. Also included is the very rare original 5-speed gear knob plus a spare original knob and a similar “original looking” knob that can be used when driving.
With five brand new tyres that are sitting on five original “LX” rims with the original rear centre caps that have the old school Toyota logo. Also comes with an original “LX” spare spare sixth rim.
And this is where I insert a blatant plug for my own company...
Everything in the vehicle is in working order with every button, switch, lever handle and lock functioning, including the original radio and mono under-dash speaker. A towbar is fitted with working trailer plug.
It comes complete with original owner documentation, including the warranty booklet, service history, service receipts including the first service, as well as “Endrust” rustproofing documentation. It also has original tools and jacking equipment and an original extension glove box light.
The car is fully registered in NSW until 12/4/24. This allows for easier transfer than a vehicle with historic or club registration.
Mechanically it is in excellent condition and it runs super smooth with none of the engine rattles or gearbox noises you often get with these vehicles. The vehicle has been meticulously maintained, but used and loved. There is a bundle of documentation and receipts to back this up.
